Empowering youth and communities is central to the mission of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC). We design and implement programs that enable young people and grassroots communities to actively participate in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
SDC creates platforms where youth leaders, students, community groups, and grassroots actors can engage in dialogue, innovation, and social action connected to sustainable development.
By fostering inclusive participation and supporting grassroots leadership, SDC helps ensure communities play a vital role in shaping a more just, sustainable, and inclusive future.
Recognized with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) from 2021.
Through youth leadership initiatives, community development programs, and international youth forums, SDC provides platforms for young leaders, students, and community organizations to engage in dialogue, innovation, and social action.
These initiatives promote awareness of sustainable development, human rights, and civic responsibility while encouraging youth-led solutions to local and global challenges.
SDC also supports grassroots organizations and community groups through mentorship, capacity-building, and collaborative projects that strengthen local leadership and social impact.
