The Digital Inclusion Initiative is a program of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC) focused on bridging the digital divide and ensuring that all communities have equitable access to technology, connectivity, and digital skills.
The initiative recognizes that digital access is essential for participation in modern education, economy, and civic life, and works to remove barriers that prevent underserved communities from benefiting from digital tools.
Through capacity building, partnerships, and advocacy, the Digital Inclusion Initiative supports efforts to create a more digitally equitable world where technology serves as a tool for empowerment and development.
Recognized with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) from 2021.
The initiative focuses on improving digital literacy, expanding access to technology, and supporting programs that help communities use digital tools for education, economic development, and civic participation.
