Sustainable Urban Planning and Waste Management for Inclusive Cities
The Green Cities Project is an initiative focused on promoting sustainable urban development, responsible waste management, and environmentally resilient cities. The program works with local governments, urban planners, communities, and institutions to support innovative solutions that improve the quality of urban life while protecting natural resources.
Aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities, the project encourages cities to adopt integrated planning approaches that balance economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
The initiative is supported by the Sustainable Development Council, which promotes collaborative action and knowledge exchange to build cities that are resilient, inclusive, and sustainable.
