Making the Global Goals accessible to every child
KIDS for SDGs is a flagship initiative of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC) designed to introduce children and young people to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through age-appropriate learning, creative engagement, and hands-on activities.
The initiative recognizes that sustainable development education must begin early. By creating accessible, interactive, and inspiring learning experiences, KIDS for SDGs helps young people understand the world around them and their role in shaping a better future.
Through school programs, workshops, creative competitions, and community engagement activities, the initiative brings the 17 Global Goals to life for children across diverse backgrounds and regions.
Recognized with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) from 2021.
KIDS for SDGs uses storytelling, visual learning, interactive workshops, art-based activities, and project-based learning to introduce complex global topics in ways that children can understand, relate to, and act upon.
The program works with schools, educators, parents, and community organizations to create learning environments where children explore sustainability through curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
